Without exaggeration, we would not be able to save a single dog, much less the 400-700 we have rescued and adopted out each of the last six years, without the help of our volunteers. We rely on and cherish our many fosters who help give our rescues a safe and comfortable home to stay while we get them vetted, learn about them, and match them up with potential adopters. This is a much better environment for the dogs than a shelter situation, and is the first HOME many of these dogs have been a part of for a long time, if ever. Volunteers also help process our applications, transport dogs to appointments, walk dogs, work on our social media, dog intake, office work, manage the constant communications we receive, and so much more.
